I grew up daydreaming in the woods of northern Minnesota. Throughout my life, I’ve found inspiration in the intersection of the physical and intangible, the external and internal. A Photo I class with Greg Schreck at Wheaton College gave me a new tool with which to explore. Eventually, that exploration led me to Maine Media Workshops & College, where I had the privilege to study with artists like Elizabeth Greenberg, Brenton Hamilton, and Cig Harvey, learning more about the tools, craft, and questions unique to photography. While there, I fell in love with Maine, and with my fantastically talented, lovely-human-of-a-husband, Tim McLaughlin.

The process of making photographs continues to fill me with curiosity and wonder. I am so thankful for that, and for the many people and places who have shaped what and how I see.

Tim and I currently live in Maine, with our two wonderful and wild children.
